How should I prepare my furniture for the move before you come?
You should empty and clean the furniture before our movers come. And that’s it! From here, we will take over – we will use our tools to disassemble the bulky furniture and remove all the removable parts (like drawers or shelves) so moving them is safe and efficient. Of course, after the move, we will put everything back together and in the rooms that you tell us.
Are my items transported with somebody else’s?
This may be the case when we are relocating some of our customers’ items to the same location as yours. For efficiency and economic reasons, we will put all the things inside one truck until full. However, we have a system of loading and labeling your belongings and separating them from the rest so there is no fear of any mix-up.
Do I have to help your movers somehow?
Except that you should pack your things, there is not much that you can do to help the movers, and we assure you that there is no need. Our movers are professionals, and they know how to handle every situation during the home or business relocation process. You should, however, stay with our movers while they’re working and supervise their work, so you can tell immediately if something isn’t meeting your expectations.
Do you provide moving services for buildings with stairs (no elevators)?
Sure, we can move your belongings (heavy ones too) even up and down the stairs, in case we cannot use the elevator for any reason. What we do use is professional moving equipment that is specialized for lifting and moving things upstairs or downstairs, safely and swiftly.
Can I book your movers at the last minute?
Yes, we offer fast and efficient last-minute moving services, which means that you can schedule our services on the same day. We will send a team of movers (if they are available at that time) to move your things, especially in urgent situations like accidents and natural disasters.
Can I leave clothes and other items inside my wardrobes when they’re moved?
It is not advisable that you leave your clothes, or anything for that matter, inside the wardrobes when we are moving them. If something is inside the wardrobe, it is more difficult to move it, and it may fall apart under the pressure. Moreover, most of the wardrobes require disassembling to be moved, and our movers cannot disassemble them if there are clothes inside them. This is why we advise you to pack your clothes in separate boxes.
